An internal admin tool shipped in one milestone
A Series A founder needed an internal admin tool shipped in one milestone without an internal engineering team.
What was stuck.
A Series A founder was spending two evenings a week answering internal questions that an admin tool could answer in a click. The work was well-scoped — a single surface, a small data model, a few roles — but the founder had no engineering team and didn’t want to staff one for a tool this size.
How we worked it.
A single Starter milestone. The scoping document landed within one business day of the brief, the work shipped against the written acceptance criteria, and the engagement was capped at two rounds of acceptance-criteria revisions. Reviewer-agent notes were attached to every PR, and a Friday afternoon release digest went out weekly so the founder could see what landed without opening the repo.

The tool merged to main on day 14 of the engagement, scoped exactly to the written acceptance criteria. A handoff doc with the admin role model and the runbook for adding new fields was attached to the closing ticket.
